WHO ARE FORUM MEMBERS?

There are several noble souls in our society who can be described as “Old in age young in spirit". A small analysis will help us to understand the wonderful phenomena. To become a senior, you need not put special efforts. By virtue of age, anybody can attain seniority, which by itself cannot make life meaningful. “It is the maturity that makes life meaningful. Higher thinking and simple living are the prerequisite for maturity”. A member is not just an individual but an indivisible art of the whole society. It is the society that has developed his/her personality. So, it should become members' natural duty to serve the society. Service is not Upkar but just an expression of gratitude. Those who try hard to translate this high thinking into action.

The Forum is a body of matured men and women who are prepared to serve the community. Thus, every member of the Forum is also a change maker, someone who can lead by example, creating positive social change,inspiring others to do the same. It is sincerely exploring all systematic and holistic avenues to achieve the best. Forum's aim of Graceful Ageing. It has received high praise for the strategy it has conceived and executing it to bring together experienced experts, professionals, administrators, business persons and stalwarts in various walks of life to share their knowledge and skills for the better governance of service associations to enable Elders to live in respect and dignity. To maximize its effectiveness, the SCS Forum will play the role of Mentor to serve the nation through its motto of Participate-Energise -Transform.

As a recognition, the Government of Tamilnadu has allotted a rent free office space in a Newly Constructed Furnace Department Offices Complex – Perasiriyar K. Anbazhagan Maaligai for adding ability to achieve and grow with indefatigable efforts in securing Economic, Social Security, Healthcare and Dignified status by tuning the members to be worthy of confidence the Government has bestowed upon.
